Pay Rate: $20.00/hour and up based on experience
Location: Muncie, IN 47304
About the Role
We’re hiring CNC Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Muncie, IN. In this role, you’ll operate and monitor machines used in the production of hydraulic pumps while ensuring quality, accuracy, and efficiency. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with machinery, reading blueprints, and contributing to a small, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
Operate CNC machines and related equipment according to instructions and specifications
Study blueprints, work orders, and other production documents to ensure proper setup and operation
Select, place, and secure tools and fixtures for machine setup
Set and adjust machine controls as needed to regulate operation and maintain quality standards
Monitor machines during operation to verify performance and product quality
Inspect and verify measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers are functioning properly
Run multiple machines simultaneously while maintaining productivity and attention to detail
Identify and communicate any equipment or quality issues to supervisors
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
Perform other related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Thorough understanding of machine mechanics and manufacturing processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and written instructions
Experience operating CNC machines and the ability to run multiple machines at one time
Ability to work independently and manage tasks from start to finish with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to follow all safety procedures and work safely in a noisy environment
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds as needed
Ability to bend, stretch, squat, climb, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
Strong problem-solving and time management skills
