About the Role

We’re hiring a Transportation Coordinator to support warehouse operations in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing inbound and outbound activity within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to ensure daily production needs are met. You’ll work closely with operations, inventory, and customer teams to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and communication across the facility.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and balance inbound and outbound processes within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

• Collaborate with inventory and operations teams to resolve order issues

• Create and manage daily dock schedules

• Communicate with carriers to schedule appointments and provide shipment updates

• Support facility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, and productivity

• Work closely with leadership to ensure workloads are distributed effectively

• Communicate directly with customers regarding order updates and changes

• Maintain and update Excel spreadsheets and operational reports

• Assist with additional warehouse and operational tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Intermediate computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Strong customer service and communication abilities

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

• Reliable attendance and strong sense of accountability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
