About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Backup Lead to support daily warehouse operations and assist leadership with workflow coordination and team support. This role involves operating equipment such as reach trucks and forklifts, helping drive productivity, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking on leadership responsibilities when needed.
What You’ll Do
Support team leads and supervisors with daily operations
Assist with staffing, workflow direction, and productivity tracking
Perform stocking and putaway using reach truck or order selector
Complete full case picking
Handle shipping and staging of non-conveyable product
Manage inventory movement and replenishment
Ensure team follows safety and performance standards
Provide guidance and support to associates as needed
What We’re Looking For
Previous leadership or lead experience preferred
Forklift experience required (certification preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with a team-focused mindset
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working in a busy, sometimes noisy warehouse
