Job Title: Material Handling/ Forklift
Pay Rate: $18/hour
Location: Brownsburg, IN

About the Role
Forklift Operators will operate powered industrial trucks to safely and efficiently load/unload materials, pick orders, stow product, and organize materials, within our warehouse. In addition to forklift operation, this role will involve performing general warehouse duties to support the overall logistics of the company. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety are essential in ensuring the smooth and effective operation of our warehouse.

What You’ll Do
• Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, and organize products within the warehouse
• Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring products are properly staged and secured.
• Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the warehouse
• Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
• Stacking empty pallets
• Performing routine daily maintenance checks on forklifts and reporting any issues to maintenance department or supervisor
• Assist with various warehouse tasks, including picking/packing orders, wrapping pallets, and keeping the warehouse clean and organized
• Other warehouse duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a customer-facing role
• Proven experience operating stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs
• Dependable and flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills, detail-oriented, and follow-through skills
• Ability to read and comprehend pick tickets, receiving slips, and instructions in English
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good interpersonal communication skills

Dress Code
• Jeans or black/blue workpants.
• Slip resistant shoes, tennis shoes okay
• No loose chains and accessories
• No hoodies, scarves, or loose-fitting tops.
• Please do not wear anything offensive or alcohol related.
• No holes or ripped clothing.

Shift
1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 7amAM – 3:30 PM (Could go past that and work 10-12 hours per day in peak seasons)
