Job Title: Press Assistant / Feeder
Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

About the Role
We’re hiring Press Assistants / Feeders to support printing press operations in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you’ll help prepare materials for production runs, monitor paper flow, assist with machine setup and maintenance, and support overall production efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You’ll Do
Prepare presses for production runs by reviewing job specifications and setting up equipment
Inspect fountain solutions, inking systems, paper rolls, and reel mechanisms
Maintain proper inventory of paper and record usage and spoilage reports
Ensure paper rolls are properly unwrapped, mounted, and ready for splicing
Monitor paper flow during production runs and install new rolls as needed
Support press operators and assist with preventative maintenance activities
Assist maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
Help with make-ready processes as needed
Adjust ink, solvent, and varnish to maintain proper color quality when required
Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements
Assist with training and mentoring team members as needed
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
Previous printing or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience using hand tools preferred
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Ability to follow safety procedures and production guidelines
Comfort working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
