Position Summary

The Equipment Operator is responsible for operating Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and supporting warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Candidates must have experience operating warehouse equipment and be comfortable performing both equipment operation and general warehouse duties throughout the shift.

While a significant portion of the day may involve operating equipment, associates will also assist with other warehouse tasks as needed.

Job Responsibilities
Operate PIT equipment safely and efficiently.
Stock and put away inventory using reach trucks and order selectors.
Perform full-case picking and replenishment activities.
Move inventory throughout the warehouse.
Stage and prepare products for shipping.
Support shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
Maintain inventory accuracy and follow all safety procedures.
Complete additional warehouse duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications
Forklift/PIT experience required (certification preferred).
High school diploma or GED required.
Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Previous warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout an 8-hour shift.
Ability to work in a busy warehouse environment.

Important Requirements
Composite toe shoes are required.
Overtime is required as business needs dictate.
Attendance is critical to success in this role.
No electronics are allowed on the production floor.
Clear bags and screw-top water bottles only.
