About the Role
We’re hiring Maintenance Specialists to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting plant equipment and facility systems in a fast-paced fiberglass manufacturing environment. If you have strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, this is a great opportunity to put your skills to work.
What You’ll Do
Maintain, repair, and replace equipment as needed
Perform basic plumbing, mechanical, electrical, and building repairs
Order necessary parts, tools, and equipment according to company procedures
Maintain critical spare parts and inventory for plant equipment
Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and abnormal conditions
Take corrective and preventative action to reduce equipment failures
Coordinate with equipment suppliers to resolve equipment issues
Create and maintain preventative maintenance schedules
Work closely with the production department to address equipment breakdowns and production needs
Perform hands-on mechanical tasks such as welding, drilling, tapping, and bending
Complete required safety proposals within 30 days
Maintain 5S standards throughout the facility
Complete preventative maintenance documentation weekly or biweekly based on machine needs
Perform other duties as assigned by management
What We’re Looking For
Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
Ability to perform basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building repairs
Experience with welding, drilling, tapping, bending, or similar mechanical tasks
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally
Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled facility
Ability to bend, stoop, and perform repetitive hand movements
Ability to safely work with fiberglass materials
Strong attention to safety and detail
Dependable and able to work independently

Safety & PPE
Required PPE includes fitted gloves, safety glasses, sleeves, and barrier cream to help protect against fiberglass irritation. Proper lifting techniques and body mechanics are required, along with awareness of trip hazards and other safety concerns throughout the work area.
