Production Technician

Job Title: Production Technician
Pay Rate: $17/hr
Location: Whitestown, IN
 

About the Role:
 

We're hiring Production Operators to join our team in Whitestown, IN. In this role, you'll be responsible for hands-on production, regularly handling and assembling materials.
 

What You'll Do:
 

• Maintain a safe and well-stocked production area

• Complete daily tasks to meet production volume, quality standards, and schedules

• Assemble and prepare products according to work instructions

• Follow company policies and procedures

• Collaborate with peers and supervisors in a team environment

• Operate basic manufacturing equipment and support complex machinery when needed

• Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications

• Work at different stations as directed by the supervisor

• Verify materials issued for work orders and track production metrics

• Provide feedback and updates to Leads or Supervisors

• Maintain accurate paperwork and apply lessons from training

 

What We're Looking For:
 

• Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs

• Availability to work irregular and extended hours as needed

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) + Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

• Team player with effective communication skills (verbal & written)

• Basic computer and math skills

• High school diploma or GED required

• Basic computer knowledge

• 1-2 years of manufacturing experience (medical device, pharmaceutical, or biotech industries preferred)

• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment is a plus
