Customer Operations Coordinator

Job Title: Customer Communication and Workflow Coordinator

Pay Rate: $18.00–$20.00/hour (based on experience)

Location: Lafayette, IN

About the Role

We’re hiring a Customer Communication and Workflow Coordinator to support daily operations and ensure customer orders move smoothly from start to finish. In this role, you'll communicate with customers, coordinate with internal teams, and help keep projects on schedule. This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Communicate with customers by phone, email, and in person

  • Gather information for quotes and customer orders

  • Follow up on artwork, approvals, deadlines, and missing information

  • Monitor orders from start to finish, including shipping or customer pickup

  • Coordinate with design, production, shipping, and installation teams

  • Maintain accurate notes in the company's tracking system

  • Organize and prioritize work using Microsoft Excel

  • Assist with order entry, payments, shipping questions, and customer pickups

  • Ensure all orders move smoothly through the production process

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Excel and learning new software

  • Dependable with strong follow-up and problem-solving skills

  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, scheduling, logistics, healthcare, banking, hospitality, or project coordination preferred but not required

  • No sign industry experience required—training will be provided
