Job Title: Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate

Pay Rate: $16.50–$18.00/hour, based on experience

Location: Indianapolis, IN 46219

About the Role

We’re hiring a Forklift Operator/Warehouse Associate for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Indianapolis. In this role, you’ll operate a sit-down propane forklift while also supporting hands-on warehouse operations including case picking, paper picking, order preparation, inventory handling, and general warehouse duties. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, able to stay on task, and comfortable working independently.

What You’ll Do

  • Safely operate a sit-down propane forklift

  • Load, unload, move, and stock products throughout the warehouse

  • Perform case picking and paper picking using item and location numbers

  • Pick, prepare, label, inspect, and prepare customer orders

  • Stock and organize warehouse inventory

  • Inspect products for damage and report quality concerns

  • Assist with inventory tracking and counts

  • Use forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other material-handling equipment

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

  • Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies

  • Support the warehouse team with additional duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience

  • Previous sit-down propane forklift experience strongly preferred

  • Previous picking and inventory experience

  • Ability to accurately work with item numbers, quantities, and location information

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to stay focused and work independently

  • Ability to obtain forklift certification

  • Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, stoop, push, pull, and handle materials

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, move, and carry up to 75 lbs.

  • Limited English is acceptable, but candidates must be able to understand the communication necessary to perform the job safely and accurately
