Job Title: Forklift Operator – Overnight Shift
Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

About the Role

We’re hiring Forklift Operators for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Greenfield, IN. This is a great opportunity for experienced warehouse professionals looking for consistent full-time hours, competitive pay, and long-term potential.

In this role, you’ll work in a fast-paced distribution environment performing picking, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory, and material handling duties. You’ll also have the opportunity to operate and train on a variety of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, stand-up lifts, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers.

What You’ll Do

• Pick, pack, unpack, shrink wrap, and prepare products for shipment
• Receive, store, transfer, and ship warehouse materials
• Load and unload products and materials
• Prepare shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation
• Use a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to complete reports and enter information
• Perform inventory counts and help maintain inventory accuracy
• Identify potential order or inventory errors before products are shipped
• Use pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
• Operate and train on forklifts, stand-up lifts, sit-down forklifts, and cherry pickers as assigned
• Follow warehouse safety, security, and quality procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work overtime as needed during busy production periods

What We’re Looking For

• At least 6 months of previous warehouse experience required
• 1 year of warehouse, distribution, shipping, receiving, picking, or packing experience preferred
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management systems
• Basic math skills
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing repetitive physical work throughout the shift
• Willingness to learn and operate warehouse equipment after training
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
• Ability to work overtime and additional days when business needs require it

Shift

Overnight Shift: 8:00 PM–4:30 AM
End time may extend to approximately 6:00 AM during peak production.

Regular Schedule: Monday–Friday nights

Candidates must have flexibility to work Sunday–Friday, as the workweek may occasionally begin Sunday evening.

Overtime: Additional overtime, including Saturdays, may be required based on business needs.
