About the Role
We’re hiring a Production Lead to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you’ll assist the Operations Manager by providing leadership, direction, and support to the production team. You’ll help ensure products meet quality standards, production goals are met on time, and the line operates safely and efficiently. Spanish speakers are welcome to apply.
What You’ll Do
Provide leadership and clear instructions to production staff
Assist with training and evaluating production workers
Audit assembly kits to ensure accuracy and quality
Build and submit First Articles for approval when required
Follow assembly procedures and work instructions
Monitor production quality and daily production goals
Plan and schedule staffing requirements
Set up production lines and monitor material flow
Operate production and packaging equipment
Evaluate non-conforming materials and minimize rework
Maintain accurate production and quality reporting
Work on the production line as needed
Promote and maintain quality and safety awareness
Keep the department clean, organized, and efficient
Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other departments
Assist other departments and with special projects as needed
Support environmental and company safety policies
What We’re Looking For
Ability to lead, train, and communicate effectively
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to operate production and packaging equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to stand for 7–8 hours during the workday
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
Ability to move throughout the facility, including stairs, ladders, and congested areas
Ability to verify product and paperwork accuracy
Basic mathematical and statistical skills
Spanish speakers accepted
