Job Title: Forklift Operator
Pay Rate: $16/hour
Location: Anderson, IN

About the Role

We’re hiring Forklift Operators to join our team in Anderson, IN. In this role, you will operate machinery, assist with warehouse tasks, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be part of a growing team while gaining valuable experience in warehouse operations.

What You’ll Do

• Operate machinery safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs.
• Bend, twist, turn, kneel, and/or squat as required.
• Stand and/or walk on a concrete warehouse floor for extended periods.
• Use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls.
• Maintain required vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

What We’re Looking For

• At least 6 months of forklift experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read, write, count, and perform basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division).
• Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and follow directions.
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) highly preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory control.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, with overtime and occasional Saturdays as needed (especially during peak season from January to April).
• Ability to wear required safety equipment, including hi-vis gear, safety glasses, gloves, closed-toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants, above-ankle socks, and masks (as needed).

Shift

• 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Includes 4 weeks of training.
