Job Title: Shipping + Receiving Clerk
Pay Rate: Up to $25/hr
Location: Whitestown, IN

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse operations within a fast paced, multi client 3PL environment. In this role, you will manage inbound and outbound shipments, ensure inventory accuracy, maintain compliance with client specific requirements, and support high standard documentation processes. This position is ideal for someone detail oriented, organized, and experienced with WMS systems and RF scanning technology.

What You’ll Do

• Accurately pick, pack, stage, and verify outbound shipments according to client-specific requirements
• Process shipments using WMS and RF scanners
• Verify documentation, labeling, and shipping methods meet customer requirements
• Coordinate with carriers for scheduled pickups
• Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies
• Receive inbound shipments and verify quantities and product condition
• Accurately enter receipt data into WMS
• Inspect product against purchase orders and client specifications
• Label, stage, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies immediately
• Send required daily internal and external communications
• Escalate missed shipments, delays, nonconforming products, or missing documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate inventory through proper scanning and system transactions
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits
• Audit inbound and outbound pallets for system alignment and accuracy
• Follow all client-specific controls and documentation requirements
• Meet applicable storage requirements by SKU type
• Uphold inventory compliance with applicable certification requirements
• Support multiple client accounts with varying processes and compliance standards
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2+ years of Shipping & Receiving experience (required)
• Experience working in a warehouse environment
• Hands-on experience with a Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Proficiency using RF scanners
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and client-specific SOPs
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
