Forklift Driver

Job Title: Forklift Driver
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Location: Indianapolis, IN

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to support daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and dock preparation. This role requires strong computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate sit-down or reach forklifts safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Use computers to manage and follow daily inbound/outbound shipment schedules
• Accept inbound shipments and prepare outbound shipments
• Receive, offload, stack, and stock materials
• Pull, pack, and load products accurately
• Read packing lists and verify all shipment details
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and completeness
• Identify and resolve receiving/shipping issues, escalating when necessary
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transport products
• Safely prepare docks, trailers, and product staging areas
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety
• Assist in other distribution tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Moderate understanding of general warehouse operations
• Minimum 1 year of forklift experience (reach or sit-down required)
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
